One Presentation Award for Young Scientists (< PhD + 7 years) is sponsored by Polymers MDPI (600€)

ECIS and the MDPI journal Polymers agreed upon the creation of the ECIS-Polymers award for young scientists to acknowledge top-level scientific activity of young researchers in polymer physics, chemistry, and technology. Prize applicants must possess a PhD with a scientific activity not longer than the PhD plus 7 years. For the application procedure please consult the conference website.

One Oral Presentation Award for a Young Researcher (< PhD + 1 year) is sponsored by Polymers MDPI (500€)

ECIS and the MDPI journal Polymers agreed upon the creation of the ECIS-Polymers award for a young researcher to acknowledge top-level scientific activity of young researchers in polymer physics, chemistry, and technology. Applicants must possess a M.Sc degree and must have been actively engaged in scientific research for a period of time shorter than PhD plus 1 year. Three Oral Presentation Awards for Young Researcher (< PhD + 1 year) are sponsored by Fondazione Enzo Ferroni (500€)

On 13 Dec 2013, ECIS and the “Prof. Enzo Ferroni Foundation” have agreed upon the creation of the Enzo Ferroni Award for a Young Scientist to acknowledge the top-level scientific activity of young researchers in the field of colloid and interface science. Starting from 2019, the Ferroni Foundation support three individual prizes every year. Each award will consist in 500€. The prize will be awarded for the best oral presentation of a young scientist. Applicants must possess a M.Sc degree and must have been actively engaged in scientific research for a period of time shorter than PhD plus 1 year.. One Oral Presentation Award for a Young Researcher (<PhD + 1 year) is sponsored by Substantia (500€)

On 18 Dec 2017, ECIS and the Department of Chemistry of the University of Florence agreed upon the creation of the ECIS-Substantia Award for a Young Scientist to acknowledge the top level scientific activity of young researchers in the field of colloid and interface science. The prize is awarded annually. The award, consisting of 500€, is offered by Substantia. An International Journal of the History of Chemistry. Applicants must possess a M.Sc degree and must have been actively engaged in scientific research for a period of time shorter than the PhD plus 1 year. The decision for all oral awards will be taken during the conference by a special Jury nominated by the Chairs of the conference.

Poster Presentation Awards

 
Two Poster Awards for Young Scientists (< PhD + 7 years) are sponsored by Soft Matter (Royal Society) (300€)

The prizes will be awarded to 2 poster presentations of young scientists. Applicants should be young researchers (Master/PhD students or PhD holders) with a scientific activity not longer than 7 years after their PhD degree.
